The Council’s purpose is to empower and educate all Catholic women in spirituality, leadership, and service, and to inspire and promote the Gospel values in a constantly changing world. All women ages 18 and older are invited to the meetings which are held on the second Tuesday of every month (except July and August).
Mission Statement: The mission of the St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church Council of
Catholic Women is to support, empower and educate all Catholic women in spirituality, leadership and
service. CCW offers programs with Gospel values to the needs of the Church and the society in the
modern world. Members evangelize by example and extend hospitality by working on projects such as hosting receptions following parish celebrations, playing bingo with the elderly residents of Cedar
Haven, staging three fundraisers and two spaghetti dinners and an annual Christmas Bazaar, proceeds from which are made available to the parish for any needed improvements, and to support poverty-stricken women in third world war-torn countries.
